Easter in St. George

This is the second Easter since we moved away, and we have yet to have an actual Easter in Logan. There is something so wonderful about being in St. George for Easter. Probably because of the Spring weather and green grass and trees, where it is still pretty much winter still in Logan. So we always like to escape down south for the Holiday. The kids were so excited to go to the Easter Egg Hunt with their cousins.
The kids scored some serious candy!! Here is our family after the Egg Hunt.
This was Parker's first actual Egg hunt and he was a little confused.  He was more interested in eating the candy than loading a bunch into his bucket!  Notice that in pretty much every picture, he has candy in his mouth.  I think this was his first time really eating candy and he was in heaven!!
Parker, Taggart, and Madelyn on Easter Sunday
 Mommy and Maddie
Our family.  We had to give Parker a golf ball to hold still, plus the candy in his mouth!!

The kids with their cousins.  As good as we could get on 6 little kids!!  They are pretty dang cute though!
We had a fun time playing at the park and enoying the sunshine before we had to go home to the cold in Logan:(

Spring Break in San Diego

This year for Spring Break we headed to the beach in San Diego. We stayed in a condo right on the boardwalk of Mission Beach and it was the best location ever! Here we are right on our porch/ the boardwalk.
Maddie and Isabelle were pretty much connected at the hip the entire trip! They sure love each other!

All the kiddos except for baby Maverick.

The whole family sitting outside our place on the beach.  It was sure nice to wake up to this view every morning!

We spent a TON of time playing on the beach!  It was wonderful!
Playing catch with Grandpy on the beach and running from the waves.

Maddie played in the sand pretty much all day long!

   BROTHERS! Too cute!
Parker had an ear infection right before we left and it took him a couple days before he felt better and could really enjoy the beach.  Look at that sweet boy!!

We also spent a TON of time riding bikes, scooters, and skateboards on the boardwalk.  I went running every morning and I could have run all day, it was that beautiful!

We also went to Sea World one day and the kids loved seeing all the animals.  Taggart wanted to sit in the soak zone at one of the shows and he, Grandpy, and Cam got sopping wet!!

It really was one of the greatest vacations we have ever been on with the family!  We had such a good time and hope to go back again soon!

St. George Getaways

We survive the long, cold Logan winters by taking several trips down to St. George to thaw out in the sun. This year we went several times with both friends and family, and loved every minute of it. We have fun hiking, biking, riding scooters, playing at the park and water park, and basically soaking up the sun. This was Parker's first time really playing at a park and he loved it! It was so cute to watch him climb up and then slide down the slide.  It sure reminds us of why we loved St. George so much and it is fun to escape the winter and visit some of our old friends.  We LOVE St. George!
