Bermuda Cruise
We have been home for about a week now and I am just barely getting to posting about our cruise because I have been sick all week. It has been a bummer being sick and not doing much- I feel like I have been gone forever! Anyway, we had sooo much fun. The cruise ship departed out of New York City, so we were able to spend a couple days in the city as well. Cam hadn't been to NYC since he came out to visit me 10 years ago while I was living in Westchester being a nanny. I have been back a couple times since then, but it had been 2 years since I last went. I love the city and it was so much fun to be there with my sister and Blair. We shopped, saw some sights, ate good food, and had a lot of fun for our little stint in the city. It felt like two vacations in one as we switched gears and got onto the cruise ship. We went with Kim and Blair and 2 of his sisters and their spouses and his parents and his brother and his friend. Blair's family is so much fun and we had a ball tagging along with them. I don't think we stopped laughing! We had a lot of fun watching Celia, Adrienne, and Nick performing in the Superstar kareoke nights. Trust me, you had to be there to see all of it.. it was hilarious! We rented scooters for the 4 days we were in Bermuda and had such a good time cruising around the island and discovering the beautiful beaches. The water is the most beautiful color and the sand is so fine and white. The weather could have been better, but we still got a little sun. Cam and I went scuba diving one day and dove through some cool tunnels and saw a ship wreck. It was raining when we got done and we had to drive through a huge rain storm on our scooter to get back on the ferry. It was crazy and we were drenched. It was so fun to be able to spend some time together without our wonderful kiddies and thanks sooo much to Grammy and Grampy (Frank and Marion) for watching our kids. They did so good and hardly missed us. It makes me ready to take another vacation! Enjoy the pics!

Yea, you're alive!!! Okay, I have never really looked at you and your sister together, but you could totally be twins. In fact, in one picture I thought you had colored your hair! I'm feeling a bit jealous of your whole trip. It looks like so much fun! You know I LOVE NYC, and the pizza looks just as good as I remember it. And I am dying to get away with just my husband again. The only thing I could do without is the scuba diving. Just reading about going through caves (I'm claustrophobic) while under the water almost made me hyperventilate! Welcome Home!!
Way to be the first to post about our trip! Can you believe how much fun we had? I want to go back so bad! I am so glad you guys came with us! We are going to be talking about this trip forever and it will be nice that you'll be able to relate to all of the inside jokes that were established. Oh and will you please take off the pic of us in our bathing suits? Pretty please...I look awful. How is it that I can look even chubbier in a one piece? I guess I finally see what Blair means.
We guys looked like you had a blast, those beaches look so beautiful! I am going to beat your sister next time I see her, for even THINKING she looks big in a swimming suit-if only we could all be so lucky!! I do think, though, that you guys took more pictures of just the two of you on this vacation, than Tony and I have from our whole 12 years of marriage! Good job, I will have to remember to do that on our little trip coming up!
So much fun! I'll admit, I'm a little jealous. But I'm so glad you had fun. I need a vacay too.
Looks like you guys had a ton of fun. I am so jealous. I can't believe how much you and your sister look a like.
Wow. i'm totally jealous. You are world travelers lately! How fun!! The beaches are beautiful!
i've missed you cute girl! i've been dying to ask how the house is coming...we finlly got our foundation poured and it's framed...yea! post more. eh!
Good job on the slide show! I can tell you all had so much fun by all the great pictures. We loved hearing all the stories of the trip. We wish we could have been with you, Kim and the hilarious Smith clan.
SO FUN!
I've missed you, sorry to hear you have been sick. Looks like you had a Fabulous time. LUCKY!!! I love that you rode scooters... I have a scooter that I got before I had Macy, I love it. Unfortunately there isn't a whole lot of room for carseats?! Glad you are back with us, I missed ya!!!
Sorry you have been sick, but at least you were not sick on the cruise. I serioulsy think that must be the best way to cruise. Going to one Island and being able to explore it for more then a couple of hours. I miss NYC!!!! Glad your home safe and that you had a fun time. And Can't wait to see your house!!!
Mandy,
That stinks you have been sick. I felt like crap for about 3 days after we got home.... I felt like I was still on a ship. Driving was the worst! It looks like you had such a great time. FUN!!! You were stylin and look great! I visited with your Dad at the store the other day. He is funny and he told me all about your trip. He was sad he wasn't with ya. I love that he does the grocery shopping. Will he do mine? Anyway, I am glad you are back blogging!!! Looks like your trip was awesome. Cute pictures.... I love the color of the water.
Ewww, you are such a little Bermuda Brat! I had no idea that is where you have been. It looks like you had a great time, your pictures are awesome. Thank goodness for Grandparents huh? I am learning that they are key to our survival! Anyways, welcome back. We will see you at church on Sunday. I know, I know, you probably just fell off your chair, we are actually coming back to church after a 3 month hiatus. I am FREAKED out about all of the germs and the people but we have to do it sometime so we will see you guys soon!
Okay, you are like travel guru already!! If you live in beautiful sunny St. George you so should not be allowed to go on all of these fabulous trips, especially when you have friends in Idaho who need to go a million miles away just to escape the freezing cold weather!! Share the love would ya? Okay now that I'm done being bitter and jealous, I really am so happy for you. You and Cam deserve a great trip away from the kiddos. Isn't it so nice to escape once in awhile? It looks like you had a great time. We loved John's pizzeria so much in NY that we ate there 3 times in a week! I know, pathetic, but it really is THAT good. We really should all go there sometime, I love the city... The cruise looked like a fun time, how great to spend so much time with your sis and her hubby. You gals look fabulous, and yes I could smack Kim for the chubb comment... I would give my right arm for that kind of chubb! I love all of the fun pics, thanks for letting me live vicarously through you ;)
Hmmm...any kind of vaca sounds like a charm right now! Really, any place outside of Utah would a vacation. :) What a fun thing to do! I loved the pictures and wished I was right there with you enjoying the sun and good food!
Hello Popular!!!! I am comment #17, but I have to say it looks like you had tons of fun. Thats it... I am booking my vacation now. My kids did me in today!!!!
Hey Mandy loved the pictures of your vacation ..looked like you had a lot of fun. Can I add you to my blogging list? Amber Monson
So cute. It was so much fun playing with you guys. Thanks for showing us a good time. You look great though, for sure as great if not greater than when we went to Mexico pre-baby. Good for you and getting to the gym. I have been a little slacker lately. I want to see the fun stamped cards Cam made on the boat though. You know he has them. Just kidding. I'm sure it was awesome. P.S. I'm back and updated with my posts. Hope I didn't loose you forever.
My girls tagged your cute kiddies.
Oh, I'm so jealous! It looks beautiful and I can't wait to go back to the Caribbean! Eric and I are planning on going to Costa Rica for our 10 year anniversary, can't wait!
