A couple days ago Maddie finally decided to take off! Over the last month or so, she has been so close to walking. She could take a few steps here and there and even several in between us, but she would always end up wanting to crawl instead. I have gotten really sick of how trashed her clothes got while she crawled and scooted, so I have been pretty ready for her to walk. So, on last Wednesday night she was walking between Taggart and me and she just kept turning around on her own and walking in a circle. The last few days she has just been crusing around getting her legs! She loves to walk and is so proud of herself. She just huffs and puffs and grins while she is walking. She looks so big now that she can walk and I wonder where my little baby has gone? She does look like the cutest little lady ever!

Yay! I am so happy for you...and her! It is nice when they finally decide to walk instead of tearing up their clothes, and their knees (or maybe her bum while she scoots). But it is also a bit sad as they officially graduate from babyhood, too. I can hardly believe that in about 5 months (we hope) Lyla will be on her feet as well.
Yay Maddie! She looks so adorable cruising around, and that hair is the best! Is it curly, or are you just doing the 'scrunch'? Walking is kind of bittersweet, because they seem so grown up once they find their legs. I love watching their little 'strut' isn't it hilarious? Caroline cruises around like she owns the place, usually always with her black dolly tucked under one arm, and the other arm just swinging to beat the band... I'd love to see our girls together, we would be sure to get some good laughs!
What a cutie pie! I love her curly hair! I am jealous. We are in the trashy clothes stage right now. I can't wait until Savanna walks!!!
You go girl!!! I am so proud of little Miss Maddie. It was great to see you at church yesterday Mand, it feels like I never see you anymore. Let's get a BBQ planned or something. We need another fun night with good games and food!
Oh, Maddie! Good work sweet cheeks! This picture is so darn cute! I can't wait to see her cruise around at the wedding! I miss your kiddies so much! It has been too long! After reading A's post about her pregnancy, I don't feel like having kids today, so maybe you should just give me yours. Deal? We'll pay the big bucks, we promise. Plus, why would you want ratbags, or whatever you call them?

She is so cute. In the picture you can tell she is even exciteed about walking. How fun.... they grow up so fast...don't ya think? So call me, or email me and maybe we can get together. We may be going to St. George over Memorial weekend for a family 4 wheel trip. I know.... yeha!, but the disclaimer is I get a hotel in St. G and 1 day of shopping. I remember you saying you live close to some dunes or something. Anyway to make a long story short. It would be fun to get together. I think your mom has my#. Congrats Maddie on walking.... That's exciting. I'm ready for Annabelle to get off the floor so she isn't eye level with every little fuzz, crumb, dirt, bug or whatever else she finds on the floor, ground to eat.
Yeah for no more dirty bummers and worn out knees. She does look so big and it's so fun once she can keep up with Tag because they'll just become the best little buddies now. She does look so stinking cute though. And her hair looks super curly too. Is she getting Carston tight curls or just her mommy's beautiful waves? That would be so fun and easy for you. By the way you a trooper for reading all my posts and commenting on them all too. We really had so much fun with you guys. Thanks for everything.
What a great accomplishment! Milestones are so fun to reach with out little ones. This one was the ultimate! I wondered if Bobby's little pants would make it when he was transitioning between crawling to walking. What a sweet little girl to chase around!

Little Miss Maddie is so dang cute! The curls are just so adorable and I can not believe how in just 2 weeks she went from a baby to a toddler. Wow I can't even believe it's her.WE are so excited for the wedding and to bring the fam all together for a day!Kisses to sweet Maddie and Tag.

Good job Maddie!!! I love when the begin to walk, although it IS sad because they don't seem quite as baby-ish. I love how happy and independent it makes them feel. Her hair is so cute and crazy!!!

Hey Mandy! Isn't it fun to watch your little lady walk? I still laugh at Ruby cruise around and she's been walking for 6 months!
p.s. I have to say, if I were Ruby I would be jealous of Maddie's curly hair!
