We are having a BOY!

We found out a few weeks ago that we are having another BOY! I had really thought it was a boy, so I was somewhat relieved since I was totally in Boy mode. Taggart and Cam were the most excited though. Tag just keeps saying how excited he is to have a brother! Maddie is just happy to have a baby and only sometimes says that she wishes it was a girl. It looks like Maddie will continue to be the Princess of our house as we get another boy. We are all very excited to meet him and see if he is just like his older brother.

I don't have many pictures of myself when I was pregnant with Tag and Maddie, so I vowed that I would try harder this time. So here is a picture of me and the kids before church on Sunday and I am 21 weeks. I feel like I have a HUGe belly already, but I know its just going to get bigger!

We have been loving the Spring weather here in St. George and have spent a lot of time outside lately. The kids and I have been living at the park and my kids already have little tans. You should see Taggart's neck, it looks dirty! We have been going on lots of bike rides, with Tag and I on our bikes and Cam pushing Maddie in the stroller while rollerblading. He gets a great workout and it is fun for all of us! I just love that he is bringing back old school while riding his blades! I laugh every time!

18 weeks and counting...

I am sure that you have all heard by now, but we are expecting our 3rd baby on August 9th. I am pretty sure the baby will actually arrive sometime in July though. This pregnancy has been by far the easiest one so far. I wasn't nearly as sick and tired throughout the first trimester, and now I feel pretty good, except the getting fat part, of course! I have already gone in for my surgery to have my cervix sewn shut and this time I am also getting hormone shots that will help with preventing preterm labor. Cam has to give me these shots once a week and he just did his first one the other day. He was freaking out about it and I kinda was too, since it is NOT a small needle and they nickname them the 'peanut butter shot.' But he did a great job and it didn't really hurt too bad, so we will have to see how it goes. Hopefully with these 2 things we will keep the little one inside for a little longer. At 36 weeks they take the stitch out and stop the shots and then I will be ready for it to come. We will have an ultrasound next Monday (1 week) and even though Cam doesn't want to find out the sex, we are! Anyone who knows me, knows that I am a planner and I just think I would have anxiety not knowing what I was having! So, sorry Cam, but I am the one having the baby, so I get to make this decision! I think I am having a boy and so does Taggart. He has now convinced Maddie that we are having a 'brother', so we will have to see if we are right? So I will keep you posted. Maddie is very excited and already looks at my belly and says 'Oh, mommy your baby is getting bigger.' She always wants to hold it and she is becoming quite the little Mother to her baby dolls.
Anyway, on a another random subject... I straightened Maddie's hair! My mother in law did this once and she looks like a totally different little girl! Here she is before her dance class showing off some of her moves.
It has a ton of body and is so long and blond when it is straight! It was fun, but took a lot of work, so I don't know how often we will do that!
