It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

I do believe that Christmastime is "the most wonderful time of the year." And this year was no exception! Before I get to Christmas though, there are a couple things that I forgot to blog about.
We went to another Ugly Sweater Party this year and were very happy to bust out Cam's Mom's old sweaters. She has the greatest collection of Christmas sweaters and we love her for it!! Cam also decided to slick his hair into his old missionary do and pull this ugly face for the camera! Check out my earrings!!

We also went to Breakfast with Santa and I never posted the pics. This was the first time both kids ran up to Santa and gave him a big hug!

I celebrated my 21st birthday (ok...32nd!) and Cam and my good friend schemed up a plan to surprise me with a wonderful dinner at Anasazi Grill and bowling! Thanks so much to Cam and the Chambers for a fun night and making my day special!

On Christmas Eve, we took the Frontrunner Train to Salt Lake to see the lights at Temple Square. The kids loved it and thought it was the Polar Express.

We got hot chocolate to get warm since it was freezing outside! Here is Tag with his hot chocolate face and Maddie getting warm in Grammy's fur!

After we got home and ate dinner, we had the kids dress up and told the story of Christmas. Maddie was Mary, Tag was Joseph, Isabelle was an Angel, and Kate was Baby Jesus. They all got really into dressing up and playing their parts this year.

I told Tag to pretend that Mary was his wife and that she was having a baby and just look at how sweet he was!

We then got into our matching pajamas and headed to bed to wait for Santa!

The kids woke up nice and early and were very excited to see what Santa had brought for them. They got spoiled as usual by their relatives and had a blast opening all their presents! Here are Izzy and Maddie in their matching hats and nightgowns.

We spent time with both of our families and the kids had a lot of fun playing with their cousins. It was a great Christmas, but we are happy to be home now! And trying to figure out where we are going to put all of this stuff we got from Christmas!! AHHHH! Hope you all enjoyed your Holidays!

Looks like fun! If I think of Cam's hair it still makes me crack up. It was awesome! I love your matching jammies. I don't know if Tom would want to wear the ones the girls would want to?

Ok I am way behind on blogging so forgive me for being a month late on here but anyways .... Your Christmas post was great, looks like you guys had a fun time. Can't wait for the ugly sweater party next year, I was so sad that we weren't able to be there this time.

Maybe your blog should be private Mands, the random comments on here are kinda special ...
